Faces of Influenza Quiz: Are You a Face of Influenza?

There are many Faces of Influenza - people who should be immunized against influenza every year. More likely than not, each one of us knows someone whose well-being, good health, or life depends on getting an influenza immunization each and every year. Take the quiz below to see if you are a "face" of influenza.

Are you a parent, sibling, grandparent, babysitter, or anyone else who lives with or cares for a child younger than 6 months of age?

Will you be an expectant mother during the influenza season (September - May)?

Are you 50 years of age or older?

Are you the parent or household contact of a child between 6 months and 5 years of age?

Influenza is not the common cold. It's serious.

Annual immunization is the best way to protect against influenza.1 We at the American Lung Association urge you and your loved ones to get vaccinated as soon as you can, whenever that is during the influenza season. Vaccination typically begins in October and can continue through March. In most seasons, influenza virus activity peaks in February or March.1 Influenza vaccination is a safe and effective way to help prevent influenza.1
